Always-On Conference Calling
An Always-On Conference does not have a defined start time, so you may initiate a conference call whenever needed. Up to 9 callers may participate. Your Mobile Manager serves as the "call in" number.
Always-On Conferencing Highlights:
- No reservation needed.
- One-time setup via the web.
- Have up to 3 sets of always-on Host/Guest codes.
- Use for reoccurring meetings.
Note: To allow you the greatest amount of flexibility, you can use a combination of Always-On and Reserved conferencing.
Always-On conference calls can ONLY be created and modified via the web interface.
By Phone:
Joining an Always-On Conference:
An Always-On Conference may be accessed at any time: Dial the Mobile Manager number on which the conference is scheduled. Touch ** when prompted. (See NOTE below) Enter your Host or Guest code to join the call.
Note: The prompt that instructs callers to "touch **" to join a conference IS NOT permanently activated if you create an Always-On Conference. The first participant joining your call must know they need to touch ** to access the conference. After the first participant joins the conference, the "touch **" prompt is played for all subsequent callers.
By Web:
Creating an Always-On Conference:
To create an Always-On Conference via your web account:
- Log on to your web account.
- Select the Conferencing Services button at the top of the page.
- Click "Set Up Always-On Conference Now" button.
- Enter all required information.
- Click Reserve.
Modifying an Always-On Conference:
An Always-On Conference may be modified at any time via your web account:
- Log on to your web account.
- Select the Conferencing Services button at the top of the page.
- Locate the Always-On conference you wish to alter and click the "modify" button.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Click Save.
